Two Fes pottery sink, all handmade & hand painted, a great add to any home decor, will give a special look to any bathroom
Those are beautiful ceramic vessel sinks! The hand-painted blue and white patterns are classic and would make a stunning focal point in a bathroom.
Since these are vessel sinks (designed to sit on top of a counter rather than being dropped in), here are a few things to keep in mind for a successful installation:
1. Faucet Height
Standard faucets won't work here because the rim of the sink is quite high. You will need:
A Tall Vessel Faucet: These are specifically designed with extra height to clear the rim of the bowl.
Wall-Mounted Faucet: Alternatively, you can mount the faucet to the wall behind the sink for a very clean, modern-meets-traditional look.
2. Countertop Considerations
Height:Because the sink sits *on* the counter, you may want your vanity or countertop to be slightly lower than standard height (usually around 30-32 inches instead of 34-36 inchesso that the top of the bowl ends up at a comfortable level for washing hands.
Material: Ensure your countertop is well-sealed, as water can sometimes splash around the base of the vessel.

3. The Drain Assembly
Most of these artisanal ceramic sinks require a non-overflow drain.
Standard sinks have a small hole near the top to prevent flooding; these typically do not.
Make sure your plumber knows to get a "grid drain" or a "pop-up drain" designed for sinks without an overflow.
4. Mounting & Stability
You’ll need a mounting ring (a small rubber or metal ring) that sits between the sink and the countertop. This cushions the ceramic and prevents the bowl from wobbling or shifting over time.
