Andalusia bench

59" large x 43" high x 28" 1/2 wide.

This handmade Moorish/Moroccan wooden bench features classic Middle Eastern and North African architectural elements and intricate woodwork:

1. Architectural Backrest (Double Pointed Arch / Horseshoe Silhouette)

• Twin Pointed Arches: The backrest features two high-arched panels topped with pointed Moorish/Gothic-style arch crests.
• Intricate Mashrabiya Lattice: Inside the back panels are dense, openwork geometric lattice patterns (mashrabiya or pierced fretwork) that allow light to pass through.
• Keyhole / Mihrab Cutouts: Each back section features a distinct keyhole-shaped pierced cutout, evoking traditional Islamic archway and niche silhouettes (mihrab).

2. Frame & Armrests

• Dark Walnut / Rich Espresso Finish: Crafted from solid wood with a deep brown, hand-carved finish.
• Sinuous Armrests: Smoothly curved, undulating armrests extend downward to sturdy corner posts with turned cylindrical legs.

3. Base & Lower Apron Structure

• Spindle Railing: Below the seat, a row of miniature turned wooden spindles acts as a decorative balustrade.
• Lower Lattice Panels: The lower skirt/apron features matching pierced geometric lattice work, echoing the design of the backrest for a cohesive, balanced look.
